BlackBerry Storm2 Vs Blackberry 9700 Bold

Both of the models, BlackBerry Storm2 Vs Blackberry 9700 Bold, echo performance in their specific rights of technicality. The enjoyment of fast access to the net through Wi-Fi seems to be acceptable to intense users of internet. But, comparative flexibility and capability on multimedia, Blackberry 9700 Bold seems to have an edge over Storm2. Many would agree 9700 wins on entertainment front. However, this appears to be natural since Blackberry Storm2 is primarily objected at improving over Storm’s earlier version or Storm1. Still, Storm2 makes its point with excellent feel of the touch screen that goes down on touching. Further, some may get confused in deciding which version of Storm2 to choose – GSM or CDMA. Conversely, 9700 Bold offers QWERTY keypad in two versions namely 9700 and 9630 supporting GSM- HSPA and CDMA- EV-Do.

Comparison of display features again pushes Blackberry 9700 Bold to suffer a bit due to screen of 2.44 inch. But, at higher resolution of 480 x 360 pixels, the handset does not leave any one to grumble due to its very sharp and clear on screen images in lively colours; and comfortable text writing and reading. Whatever may be the impression of users, the QWERTY key pads adds luxury to this super attractive mobile set. In contrast, Blackberry Storm2’s display is enriched with electronic activators, which carry the impulse with announced click. This electronic display character is far superior to earlier version Storm1’s SurePress technology in offering consistent experience. In switch off state, the icons retain their on screen fixed positions.

In memory front, Blackberry 9700 Bold is featured with 1 GB memory to support different application software. It has also scope of getting enhanced up to 16GB with the use of microSD card. The memory of version Storm1 is certainly to get boosted up in Blackberry Storm2 and will match up with the current level of normal space needed for downloading application software.

BlackBerry 9700 Bold – new 3G with appeal

BlackBerry 9700 Bold is a bold step of RIM to come out of their earlier stand of counting out 3G facility for business purpose mobiles. The reason of such stand was company’s confidence in impressive performance of their 2G sets to handle emails. To be frank, RIM focused their sets to serve core business utilities and thought adding appeal values to be mere waste. No longer pitching on the laurels of business utility, the days are well recognised by RIM for nicer look, tender feel and added appeal factor for 9700 Bold. Thank heavens; RIM has ultimately accepted that business class users have equally delicate taste. This version is a big achievement for model BlackBerry to offer astoundingly fast net access and surfing, a prime need of business class users. Nicely laid curves inlaid with steel stripe on the sides appealed to me as a smart and distinct cosmetic to the body. Bold also carries the swanky get up of BlackBerry models with standard faux leather back side. With the graceful frame, a bit raised keys makes going faster compared to previous model Blod 9000. It does not bear a bulky feature as generally presumed for 3G breed. The trackball is out from 9700 Bold. Optical trackpad has added vigour to 3G version with QWERTY keypad.BlackBerry 9700 Bold

This third generation mobile phone is rich in features and appreciably helpful for the business class users who need to roam with loads of data. The expandable memory can be expanded up to capacious 32 GB using microSD card. The built-in memory is, however, 256MB. The 2.44 inch display gives the impression of weathered feeling, but it is not at all so in reality when I used it. The screen is TFT 480 x 360 pixel resolution type supporting 65K colours.
