With the introduction of the mobile phone (a gradual process that began with unwieldy, unviable handsets in the 70’s) came speculation that the days of the landline were numbered. The quality of the connection will also be considerably better with a home phone line. The problem of calls being suddenly disconnected, not to mention static interference, simply doesn’t exist with a landline.

Home phone lines are affordable, convenient and may well connect you to life-saving assistance in an emergency. They cost a fraction of mobile costs, and are already installed in homes and offices throughout the world.
